OUR HISTORY

Leather has been part of our family since 1960. What began as a small leather trading and processing operation grew steadily over decades. While trends changed and industries evolved, one thing never did — our relationship with leather.

For over sixty years, our family has worked closely with tanneries, craftsmen, and exporters. We learned leather not from books, but from touch. From texture. From the way a hide behaves under a blade.

We supplied, We processed, and We perfected.
But we never put our name on a finished product.
Until now.

Sarto & Co. is the natural evolution of that legacy — a brand built on generational knowledge, finally expressed through our own line of handmade shoes and leather goods.This is not a startup experimenting with leather.
This is experience refined into a product.

OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP

Craft is not a marketing word for us. It is a process we have respected for decades. Every Sarto shoe begins the same way leather has always been handled in our family — measured first. Before cutting, we assess grain consistency, thickness, and flexibility. Each hide is selected with intention. Each pattern is aligned to preserve structure and longevity.
